Accepting: Newspaper, aluminum and steel cans, #1 and #2 plastic bottles and jugs, household mixed paper which includes junk mail, paperboard boxes such as cereal boxes, phone books, catalogs, office paper, etc..corrugated cardboard, glass jars and bottles (all colors accepted), used motor oil, transmission fluids, used vegetable oil, auto and marine batteries, cell phones, rechargeable batteries, small trees and limbs and tires (fee for tires only).

Open 6 days per week: Mon - Sat, 7 am- 3:30 pm
Accepting: Scrap metal, aluminum cans, #1 and #2 plastic bottles and newspaper
- Henderson City Curbside Recycling Program:
Recyclables picked up at your curb every other week: Pick up your blue bins at the Henderson City Garage located at 1131 5th St
Open: Mon - Fri, 7am- 4 pm Pick up blue recycling bins here
Accepting: Newspaper and inserts, aluminum and metal cans, #1 (PETE) and #2 (HDPE) plastic soft drink bottles and jugs (please flatten), household mixed paper which includes cereal boxes, phone books, magazines, junk mail, (staples and paper clips are ok). Cardboard must be flattened and no larger 18" X 12". Please break down or flatten as many items as possible to save space.
